Britain's most innovative playwright Kevin Fegan presents a practical workshop for playwrights, poets and performers, exploring how best to use contemporary verse in the theatre (suitable for ages 18+). This will be followed by a performance of his dramatic verse monologue, Let Your Left Hand Sing, which captures tales of migration from around the world, and was commissioned by The Long Journey Home Festival and published by Five Leaves Press. Fegan's gritty new multimedia production, Fireflies: A Love Story Waiting to Happen, is premièred at the Lowry this autumn.
