Children's Book Show

We are delighted to team up once again with the Children’s Bookshow and the Library Theatre to present two picture book-themed events for school children. The morning event will feature Kit Wright and Posy Simmonds. Kit Wright is one of Britain’s most popular poets. His many books for children include Rabbiting On, Hot Dog, the bestselling Cat Among the Pigeons, and Great Snakes, all illustrated by Posy Simmonds. Celebrated cartoonist and graphic novelist Posy Simmonds has written a string of distinctive children's books including Lulu and the Flying Babies, The Chocolate Wedding, Bouncing Buffalo and The Freezing Alphabet.

The afternoon show features Daniel Morden, one of the UK’s leading storytellers and the author of five books, including Weird Tales from the Storyteller (Gomer Press) which was nominated for the Tir Na N’og Welsh Children’s Book Prize. He has also published two delightful picture books So Hungry and Tuck Your Vest In.
