Words to Freedom - in support of Amnesty

Amidst the reflective surroundings of St Ann's Church, members of Manchester Amnesty, local activists and celebrities, including Shobna Gulati, present a series of poems and stories produced under political duress by imprisoned or intimidated writers across the globe. Angry, inspirational, satirical and often full of hope, these works reveal the power of the written word to shed light in the darkest of times.  Come and join your thoughts with those of others to send a powerful message to repressive regimes across the world.
