Manchester’s finest authors of young teen fiction provide entertainment for all the family as they introduce us to their imagined worlds. Philip Caveney is the creator of the Sebastian Darke novels, Prince of Fools and Prince of Pirates, and is currently working on a trilogy featuring Alec Devlin, a fifteen year old archaeologist who keeps finding himself caught up in wild (and sometimes terrifying) adventures.
Adèle Geras has written more than ninety books for children of all ages, as well as four novels for adults. Her novel Troy was shortlisted for the Whitbread Award. Her latest children's books are Cleopatra (Kingfisher) and Little Ballet Star (Orchard).
Livi Michael is the author of four novels for adults and nine for children. Her latest book Skywolves is a comic fantasy involving three different universes and one Jack Russell.
This event is suitable for children aged 8 to 100!
