MLF and the Centre for New Writing at The University of Manchester are thrilled to host this first Manchester appearance by the Irish writer Ciaran Carson. His poetry collections include First Language: Poems, which won the TS Eliot prize, and Breaking News, winner of the Forward Poetry Prize and a Cholmondeley Award. For All We Know (2008) is a Poetry Book Society Choice, and his Collected Poems and new novel, The Pen Friend, are due this autumn. His prose includes The Star Factory, Fishing for Amber and, most recently, Shamrock Tea. Don’t miss this rare appearance!
