Modern Muse Performance

Poet Linda Chase has been jointly commissioned by Manchester Literature Festival and Manchester Art Gallery to respond to the art works in their Modern and Contemporary galleries. At this unique event she will read from her latest work against the backdrop of her inspirations. She will also be joined by some of the participants on last weekend’s Modern Muse Poetry Workshop.

Linda Chase is an American poet living in Manchester.  She is the coordinator of the Poetry School Manchester and the artistic director of Poets and Players. She has had two collections published by Carcanet: The Wedding Spy (2001) and Extended Family (2006).
