Rodge Glass reads from his critically acclaimed new novel, Hope for Newborns (Faber) – a funny love story set in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
Rodge Glass is originally from Cheshire but now lives in Scotland. He writes for The Herald and is a regular contributor to a number of other magazines. His first novel, No Fireworks, was published in 2005 and was shortlisted for four awards. His biography of Alasdair Gray will be published in Autumn 2008.
