Manchester Literature Festival and the Manchester Food & Drink Festival presented a simmering three course selection of stories around Asian food, told by two master purveyors of fiction, the UK novelists, Vijay Medtia (The House of Subadar, Arcadia) and Zahid Hussain (The Curry Mile, Suitcase). The evening’s menu comprised of: for starters a fun, food-themed writing competition; the main course readings from the two hot novelists; followed by refreshments, questions, the competition winner’s readings and signings by the two novelists.
